Parenting

All Ages

Bayside's Parenting Ministry exists to encourage and equip parents with the tools to become intentional Christ-centered families. Our ministry offers parenting classes for expectant parents, MOPS and studies for parents through the teen years.

Have you adopted a child, recently or years ago? Are you thinking about it? Could you use a little more info or encouragement throughout the process? The Bayside Adoption Network is here for anyone who has adopted, is in the process of adopting or is interested in adopting in the future. Connect with others going through similar life events and support and encourage each another!

Get Connected

Bayside Marriage Coaching connects seasoned married couples (coaches) that have weathered the storms of marriage with younger couples (recipient couples) that are seeking encouragement in their marriage.
Through thought-provoking questions and conversations (not counseling), the marriage coach couple lovingly guides the recipient couple toward their goals in marriage and helps equip them with tools for building a thriving relationship.

We believe every mother should know that what she does matters and that she isn’t alone.
At MOPS (mothers of babies and preschoolers) we come together as a community of moms and moms- to -be who seek authentic connections; bringing women together to share in the joys and challenges that this season of motherhood brings.

MOPS meets every Monday Morning (Starting Sept. 11 for Fall Semester)  from 9:15-11:15 am.

Registration Opens before the Fall/Spring Semesters.

Join us for a 10 week class (Part 1 & Part 2 are each 10 weeks long) series led by Dr. Donald Partridge, author of Parent Wars and Loving Your Stepfamily, as he teaches tested principles that will help parents and stepparents raise emotionally healthy kids.

Not only is Don a sought-after conference speaker and stepfamily expert, Don has been there… divorced… a single parent… and is now in a successful stepfamily with seven children for 30 years. After working with hundreds of stepfamilies, the author discovered the missing principles needs to stabilize children following their parents’ separation and remarriages. Today Don represents over a decade and a half of practicing these principles and observing their continuing and amazing benefit to his own family and to single and remarried parents throughout the country.

Perfection is the enemy of parenting. While it’s admirable for parents to strive to be the very best moms and dads they can be for their children, they sometimes leave grace behind – both for themselves and their children. Author Jim Daly, President of Focus on the Family, does not promise that his book will be a catalyst for a perfect family, but it can help point the way toward encouraging moms to embrace the messiness of parenthood and show grace to their own less-than-ideal children.

This study is for moms of young children.
