Resources for Parents and Volunteers
We realize that as your sons and daughters enter the “tween” years, they are also starting a new journey in their spiritual lives. With that said, we want to teach them how to practically understand and live out their walk with Christ. Our goal is to show fourth and fifth graders how the Bible applies to their everyday life at school, in sports, with their friends and their family.
We want them to discover these things:
Jesus. Our mission is to help youth understand how to have an authentic relationship with Jesus.
His Word. We will strive to help youth understand God’s word, and to know that His word is our map and playbook for this life.
Real Faith. It is our desire to teach youth how their relationship with Jesus is an active part of their everyday life.
Living it Out. We want to teach youth how to live out their faith outside of the church walls.
We want them to experience these things:
Worship. We have teamed up with our Worship Arts department and have live acoustic worship each weekend. Our goal is to teach youth what it looks like to worship God and to really take that time to connect with him.
The Message. We want God’s Word to come alive for youth. The message will be presented in a fun and engaging way, that is relatable and easy to apply.
Small Groups. Small Groups will unpack and break down the message. Small Groups enable the youth to connect to their leader and to one another.
